There are 3 implementation options for customers to consider when selecting the VPMi Professional:

1. Software as a Service (SaaS)
2. Hosted (Separate instance and Server for One Company)
3. Local (Source code provided and installed on customer's local servers)

Option 1:  Software as a Service

This is perhaps the simplest and most cost effective option for many companies.  Simply sign-up online and begin setting up and taking advantage of the VPMi Professional.

There are no setup costs, no billing for 60 days, and the monthly charges are as follows:

• Full Access User:  $30 USD / Month
• Timesheet / Status Update User:  $10 USD /  Month

Companies under this plan can cancel at any time and there are no additional charges for the number of projects, uploads, or disk space.  

Option 2:  Hosted (Separate Instance of the Server)

This option requires a one time $1,000 USD setup fee but allows for more advanced configuration of installation options.  Examples of this are fully configurable process maps, balanced scorecards, and user roles.  Hosted users can further customize and skin the VPMi to meet their exact specifications.  Additionally, there is no co-mingling of the data with other companies so hosted users are in an excellent position to bring the application "in house" for future local implementations.  Also, many of our hosted users configure report writers directly to the tables in the database for even greater reporting flexibility.

For hosted users the month costs are exactly the same as the Option 1: Software as a Service implementation.  We do require a minimum of 20 users for this option to be viable.

Option 3:  Local Source Code "Unlimited" Implementation

For large organizations where monthly user charges become expensive or where security concerns of using an application service provider prohibit external hosting we have an option for local source code implementation.

Companies selecting this route provide their own Oracle database server and their own Microsoft Web Server.  VCSonline provides setup assistance and ongoing support but there are no additional monthly usage charges after the initial software purchase price.  Please contact us for more information on this implementation option.
